Anchi Tsai
PRTY, RYT 200
Anchi has been practicing yoga since 2007. Her classes are deeply influenced by her training in the dynamic Ashtanga style and the gentle Yin Yoga -both have greatly influenced her life. In her power/flow class, expect a structured and energizing sequence that allows you to explore your edge and aware of your strength. Because yoga is such a personal journey, Anchi provides modifications and hands-on adjustments to meet the different needs of different bodies. She always leaves silent space for students to tap into their internal territory. Anchi is certified in Prenatal, Yin, Yoga Nidra and Restorative yoga. She has more than 8 year experience working with people who suffer injuries or chronic pain. She also helps office workers to relieve stress and heal the bodies via gentle and systematic stretching. To support people to have the access to the benefits of yoga in their own language, she also runs Mandarin Yoga programme.

Yoga has transformed my life and has shown me what truly matters. Having completed my 200 hr. Teacher Training and continued my pursuit of self study and discovery, I feel blessed to be able to teach what I love. Yoga, for me is so much more than the Asana or physical aspect, it is a way of life. As a teacher, it is important for me to convey these teachings of this ancient science in a way that is palatable to our western way of thinking. I prefer to shift our Asana practice away from a more popular pursuit of achievement to a more subtle way of meditation through movement and breath . My classes are simple, yet dynamic, and offer something to everyone, at any level. My intention is to allow students to move beyond what is uncomfortable and to arrive at a place of well being & ease. Through maintaining a regular, authentic practice on and off the mat we can find meaning and purpose in our daily lives. "There is a voice that doesn't use words. Listen." -Rumi
